Asbury UMC is looking for a Children's Choir Director to help children experience God’s love through music, community, and meaningful worship.
Goals: Introduce children to joyful, age-appropriate worship music
Teach basic musical skills (singing, rhythm, listening)
Help children feel confident participating in church
Support faith formation in a fun, nurturing environment
Position is part-time, approximately 6 hours a week at $30/hr
Program will run for 35 weeks (January-May and September-December) and will be open to children 3 years - 5th grade.
Rehearsals will take place on Sunday mornings and children will sing in worship on the 1st Sunday, once a quarter, for the time being.
